Our Romanesque Building Set consists of 62 individual elements in simple geometric shapes, such as cubes, cuboids and cylinders. Architecturally, these basic building elements provide an enormous number of imaginative building possibilities.
This set was inspired by Romanesque architecture with its massive masonry, columns and round arches. Gothic pointed arches can also be created with the building elements – for a welcome mix of styles! The diverse colours expand the spectrum and give the solid building elements a cheerful lightness.
The set also includes an orange felt mat, which gives the building blocks good grip and helps them hold together better, for example when building cantilevered arches.
