Sustainability & Naturalness
Wood is renewable, robust, and repairable. We use wood from sustainable forestry and preserve the natural properties of this special material during processing.

Our Wood
All our wood comes from sustainably managed forests in Europe. We are committed to promoting environmentally friendly, socially beneficial, and economically viable forest management. It is important to us that our wood does not come from overexploitation of nature.

Our Responsibility
For the benefit of current and future generations, we at GRIMM'S take this responsibility very seriously. We ensure responsible use of global forest resources by establishing and auditing environmental and social standards for the forest management of all our suppliers, as well as by considering recycled materials.

Climate Partner certified
For us, sustainability also means considering the environment in all our actions, for example, using green electricity or self-generated solar energy in production, prioritizing resource conservation and recycling in packaging, using printed products made from recycled paper, and much more. This is why we can call ourselves a Climate Partner-certified company.

Naturalness
A distinctive feature of all our play materials is their velvety, rough surface. This is achieved by using glazes and oils that penetrate the wood fibers, leaving a vibrant finish. This creates our rugged beauties, whose tactile quality makes them easy for small hands to grasp and facilitates construction because the building blocks adhere better to one another.

Traces of Nature
The traces of nature are part of our play materials and tell their own stories. For example, the dark spots on the rainbow are so-called mineral deposits. If the tree had continued to grow, a branch would have developed at this point.
