We would like to inform you openly and as early as possible about the current situation at Grimm’s.

Over the past weeks, demand has developed in a way we have never experienced before in more than 20 years of Grimm’s. In the last three weeks alone, we have received an order volume that would normally correspond to approximately three months of incoming orders.

Exceptional Demand Leads to Capacity Limits

As a result, our available production capacities are now fully allocated.We have therefore had to make the difficult decision tostop accepting new orders with immediate effect.Our B2B webshop has also been placed in maintenance mode for the time being, so that no further orders can be placed while we review the situation.This development happened extremely quickly. Normally, when capacity becomes tight, we try to inform our partners early enough to give them the opportunity to place orders in advance. Unfortunately, the situation evolved so rapidly that this was no longer possible in a responsible manner. Each day, while we were preparing communication scenarios, the order situation changed significantly again.

Review of Open Orders and Delivery Planning

We now need to take the necessary time to carefully review all open orders, especially those received during the past three to four weeks.

This review will focus on what can realistically be produced and delivered, which timelines are achievable, and whether certain orders or parts of orders may need to be postponed.

At this stage, we are not yet able to provide reliable individual delivery confirmations or updated timelines. We kindly ask for your understanding and ask you to refrain from short-term calls or individual requests regarding specific recent orders. We fully understand how important this information is for your planning, but we first need to complete our review and planning process before we can provide reliable answers.

Next Steps and Outlook

We expect this review and planning process to take approximately two to three weeks. We will keep you informed and provide further updates as soon as we have a clearer picture.

Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to manage the situation responsibly. At the same time, we are working on increasing capacities for the future, so that we can hopefully reopen ordering opportunities as soon as possible.
